I really have nothing of importance to say, or even anything remotely witty. Maybe I'm too dejected or incapacitate to do so, and it's best I leave it to someone else...

yes as is my blog .. just as empty and uninspired
I read Voltaire's Candide years ago - all this terrible stuff was happening to the characters but one insisted that they lived in "the best of all possible worlds".
